A sand and resin cabochon is set in a hammered sterling silver bezel and suspended a sterling silver chain. A grouping of silver barnacles was created by traditional chasing and repoussé techniques, lightly oxidized and polished, and then used to adorn this pendant. Because of the techniques used to create this pendant, there will never be an identical piece. Barnacles will vary on each necklace. The back is stamped with a .925 sterling silver stamp and my maker's mark. Casey Sharpe creates wearable art with sand and sterling silver. Her pieces are found exclusively at two museums, an art gallery, and The Indie Collective!
